Join us on Wednesday, April 16th from 5:00-7:00 PM for our Public House Hangout at 830 Kline St. This casual gathering is a great chance for everyone to connect over appetizers and good conversation at a local favorite, the Public House. For parents, it’s the perfect opportunity as X-Zone and Middle School programs will be running concurrently at the church. Stop by after dropping off your kids, or just come to mingle. Everyone is welcome!

“Journey to the Cross” is an opportunity for personal reflection, communal worship, and spiritual preparation as we approach the culmination of Holy Week. Through scripture, prayer, and the act of communion, we will remember the Last Supper Jesus shared with His disciples, His agonizing path to the cross, and the sacrificial love that led Him to lay down His life for us. This evening is a call to all who desire to draw near to the cross, to remember the cost of our freedom, and to meditate on the love that Jesus demonstrated. It’s a time to prepare our hearts for the sorrow of Good Friday and the joy of Easter Sunday.
Experience “Jesus in the Seder,” a special Seder Dinner on Good Friday, from 5:30-7:00 PM in the LJPC Fellowship Hall. This event explores the connection between the traditional Seder and the Last Supper Jesus shared with His disciples, complemented by a tri-tip meal. Registration is $20 at ljpres.events.

Join us for a special Easter Sunday, starting with a picturesque sunrise service at 6:30 AM at Balboa Park’s Spreckels Organ Pavilion. After the sunrise service, continue the celebration with traditional services in the Sanctuary at 9:00 and 11:00 AM, accompanied by the La Jolla Brass and our vibrant 50-member choir. For a more contemporary worship experience, join us at 10:15 AM in Fellowship Hall. Easter at La Jolla Pres is a joyful and uplifting day, filled with music and celebration, perfect for families and individuals alike to renew and rejoice together.
