Handel’s Messiah,
plus Christmas Lessons & Carols
presented by LJPC Chancel Choir, Orchestra,
Children’s Choir (4pm), and Handbell Choir (7pm)
It’s hard to top Handel’s beloved Messiah, the story of the coming of the baby Jesus. Performed [as written, in English] by LJPC Chancel Choir and orchestra, it’s an eagerly anticipated holiday favorite. You’ll also enjoy beloved carols and scripture passages that raise spirits and deepen the meaning of the season.
We’ll welcome our Children’s Choir in the 4PM concert. Come give them – our next generation of church musicians! – all the love and encouragement they deserve. At 7pm, you’ll enjoy hearing the beautiful tones of LJPC’s Handbell Choir as they add this richly expressive element to our Christmas celebrations.
Whichever performance you chose to attend, 4PM or 7PM, bring a friend to experience our renowned LJPC hospitality!
pssst… Be sure to arrive early and get your favorite seat! Free parking is available in the structure (entrance on Kline St.), with convenient elevator and ramp access to the courtyard and on to the sanctuary. After the 7:00 concert, come revel with our musicians and neighbors at the free, warm and welcoming Holiday Reception in Fellowship Hall.
Free-will offering will be taken – accepted with gratitude – at intermission.

June 2023 Season 63 Finale Concert ENCORE
It was thrilling for LJPC Chancel Choir and professional orchestra to perform Mozart’s Requiem in June 2023. This masterpiece of choral music holds a special place in the hearts of music enthusiasts around the world, and we were honored to present it to you in all its grandeur.
To ensure you can fully appreciate the profound beauty and meaning behind each movement, we prepared a comprehensive program for the concert.
