In Matthew 28, Jesus tells his followers to “go make disciples of all nations.” This group of people had been traveling with him and watching him teach and heal for three years. Then, right before he returned to heaven, he told them that the mission belonged to them. They were the ones being commissioned to engage with the people around them and share the hope of Jesus. What an incredible privilege and challenge that is!
